On Wednesday first day in January 2020, floods occurred in Jakarta, Bekasi and Tangerang. The impact of flooding also resulted in disruption of a number of train trips. HIGH RAINFALL
High rainfall is one of the causes of flooding due to very high rainfall pressure on the earth. Around the Jakarta area there are tall buildings or buildings which means the drainage is not smooth so that when rainfall is high the water is difficult to accommodate by drainage so that flooding occurs.

SHALLOW RIVER

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

In a field one summer's day a grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content.  A group of ants walked by, grunting as they struggled to carry plump kernels of corn.

"Where are you going with those heavy things?" asked the grasshopper.

Without stopping, the first ant replied, "To our ant hill.  This is the third kernel I've delivered today."

"Why not come and sing with me," teased the grasshopper, "instead of working so hard?" 

"We are helping to store food for the winter," said the ant, "and think you should do the same." 

"Winter is far away and it is a glorious day to play," sang the grasshopper.

But the ants went on their way and continued their hard work.

The weather soon turned cold.  All the food lying in the field was covered with a thick white blanket of snow that even the grasshopper could not dig through.  Soon the grasshopper found itself dying of hunger.

He staggered to the ants' hill and saw them handing out corn from the stores they had collected in the summer.  He begged them for something to eat.

"What!" cried the ants in surprise, "haven't you stored anything away for the winter?  What in the world were you doing all last summer?"

"I didn't have time to store any food," complained the grasshopper; "I was so busy playing music that before I knew it the summer was gone."

The ants shook their heads in disgust, turned their backs on the grasshopper and went on with their work.

Holiday

HOLIDAY

Last holiday, my family and I went to Jogjakarta to meet other family members. I went by train. The journey I took was about 9 hours. After arriving at around 2 pm my family and I waited until 7 in the morning at the train station because the hotel we booked wasn't open yet. Short story, me and my family went to several places, one of them is Prambanan Temple.

On the trip, it started to look like it was going to rain. But we still walked towards Prambanan. After getting there, the weather was cloudy. But we all went up to the area near the temple. It suddenly rains. As a result we all ran and scattered. My sister and aunt ran towards the tree. However, because of our tradition, we do not allow shelter under a tree when it rains, we run to the exit door. 

After meeting with my family, we arrived at shelter. But my younger brother threw my shoes in the puddle. After getting to the car I was surprised, there was little fish that entered in my shoes. I think its a nice holiday.

My Inspiration

Alfon Suhari, he is a retired Lieutenant Colonel. He was born on November 30th, 1945. Do you know who he is? Yaps he is my grandfather. He is a member of the TNI. The army, navy and air force he had already crossed. His last assignment as a TNI was the Paskhas-Mako ops case.

Why did I choose him? because he is the one who always taught me from childhood. My parents are always busy with their work, but they never forget to me. But the most influential person in my life is my grandfather. Because he taught me how to write, read, fight, and be brave. If I'm afraid he always scolds me and somehow I have to be a brave person.

he also never forbade me to try new things. He is free and always gives me confidence. That is the reason I have never been afraid and have never wanted or intended to disappoint the trust that he gave. In essence, he is a person who is tough and gentle on those around him.
